India vs Australia highlights

In the highly anticipated ODI World Cup opener against India, Australian batter David Warner smashed 41 runs. India made an early breakthrough when Jasprit Bumrah induced a mistimed shot from Mitchell Marsh, resulting in a catch for Virat Kohli at first slip, dismissing Marsh for a duck.

Warner and Steve Smith capitalized on scoring opportunities, particularly against full or half-volley deliveries from the Indian fast bowlers. Despite facing a few challenging deliveries from Mohammed Siraj that stayed low, the duo took advantage of Hardik Pandya, scoring 21 runs off his two overs.

Warner showcased his aggression by advancing down the pitch, executing an inside-out shot against Ravichandran Ashwin for a boundary and following it up with a sweeping shot off Kuldeep Yadav for another four. However, Kuldeep Yadav managed to break the 69-run partnership in the 17th over by deceiving Warner with a tossed-up delivery, resulting in a caught-and-bowled dismissal.
