The 2023 Ballon d’Or is the 67th edition of the prestigious football award presented by France Football magazine. This award recognizes the best football players in the world for their performances during the 2022–23 season. Unlike previous editions, the Ballon d’Or for 2023 will consider achievements from the football season, which began on August 1, 2022, and concluded on July 31, 2023.
The list of nominees for the award was officially unveiled on September 6, 2023, and the highly anticipated award ceremony is scheduled to take place on October 30. This event will not only honor the best male footballer but also include several other accolades, such as the Ballon d’Or Féminin (Women’s Ballon d’Or), the Kopa Trophy, the Yashin Trophy, the Socrates Award, the Gerd Müller Trophy, and a Club of the Year award.

Who has won most of Ballon d’Or?
Lionel Messi has secured the Ballon d’Or award a remarkable seven times, establishing a record for the most wins in the history of the award. He is closely followed by Cristiano Ronaldo, who has claimed the honor five times.
