At the U17 World Wrestling Championships on Thursday, India’s four female wrestlers took home gold medals, making for a spectacular evening.
Gold medals were won by Aditi Kumari (women’s freestyle 43 kg), Mansi Lather (women’s freestyle 73 kg), Pulkit (women’s freestyle 65 kg), and Neha Sangwan (women’s freestyle 57 kg).
India has won six medals overall in the competition thus far, with Ronak Dahiya (greco-roman 110 kg) and Sainath Pardhi (greco-roman 51 kg) sharing two bronze medals.
