The most recent Snapdragon 7 series CPU from Qualcomm is rumored to power the OnePlus Ace 3V, according to a Chinese tipster ahead of any official announcement.
The insider also revealed that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC would power the OnePlus 13, which is anticipated to launch as the company’s follow-up to the OnePlus 12.
In a post on the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo, tipster Smart Pikachu (whose name is translated from Chinese) revealed that the Snapdragon 7 series CPU will be included in the OnePlus Ace 3V. Most likely, this chip will go by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 name. The phone is expected to include a 5,500mAh battery with support for 100W charging and a display with 1.5K resolution. These specifics support earlier disclosures.
In addition, the leaker stated that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC-powered OnePlus 13 would be released sooner than anticipated. It is anticipated that the chipset will be unveiled in October at the Snapdragon Summit.
In March of last year, the OnePlus Ace 2V was introduced in China for CNY 2,299, or around Rs. 27,000, for the entry-level 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model.
The 6.74-inch (1,240×2,772 pixel) 2.5D AMOLED display smartphone in the Ace series is driven by an octa-core 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC. The 64-megapixel primary sensor on the OnePlus Ace 2V’s triple rear camera array is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 80W SuperVOOC rapid charging.
The OnePlus Ace 2V was only available in China. However, in July 2023, the firm relaunched the model and released the OnePlus Nord 3 (Review) in various international regions, including India.
