On Thursday, March 7, Vivo V30 and Vivo V30 Pro were introduced in India. In Indonesia, these phones were just released recently. The global and Indian versions of the handsets are comparable in terms of features and specifications.
The phones have 1.5K curved screens and 50-megapixel front cameras. They also come with an Android 14-based user interface and offer 80W wired fast charging. Later this month, both versions will go on sale across the nation.
Know Vivo V30, Vivo V30 Pro price
The Vivo V30 Pro is available in Andaman Blue and Classic Black colors. The 8GB + 256GB model costs Rs. 41,999 in India, while the 12GB + 512GB model is priced at Rs. 46,999.
Andaman Blue, Classic Black, and an extra Peacock Green color are available for the base Vivo V30. EightGB + 128GB costs Rs. 33,999, 8GB + 256GB costs Rs. 35,999, and 12GB + 512GB costs Rs. 37,999. These are the three options that are offered.
Beginning on March 14, customers can buy the phones from Flipkart, the Vivo India e-store, and other physical retail locations. On March 7, pre-booking for the models begins.
Online shoppers can receive up to six months of free interest on SBI or HDFC credit cards, a flat 10% discount, and possibly even an extra exchange discount of up to Rs. 4,000. Customers who choose to purchase via traditional retailers can receive up to 40% off Vivo’s V-Shield plan, up to eight months of free EMI, and 10% instant rebate.
Vivo V30, Vivo V30 Pro features
The 6.78-inch curved 1.5K (2,800 x 1,260 pixel) AMOLED panels on both phones have a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a touch sampling rate of 300 Hz, and a peak brightness level of 2,800 nits.
The MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset powers the Pro variant of the Vivo V30, while the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC powers the basic edition.
Up to 512GB of onboard storage and up to 12GB of RAM are supported by the phones. FunTouchOS 14, an Android 14-based OS, is also pre-installed on the phones.
In the camera department, the Vivo V30 is equipped with a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) support and a second 50-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens alongside an Aura Light flash unit. The Vivo V30 Pro shares these camera specifications but also includes an additional 50-megapixel portrait camera. Both models sport a 50-megapixel selfie camera.
Vivo has packed 5,000mAh batteries on both Vivo V30 and Vivo V30 Pro with 80W wired fast charging support via USB Type-C ports. For security, the phones are equipped with in-display fingerprint scanners. The base variant supports Bluetooth 5.4, while the Pro model gets Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity.
