Nuh Violence: Hindu outfits urge boycott of Muslims in Haryana

Haryana Violence: In a shocking development, a group of Hindus carrying the banner of the Brij Mandal Jalaabhishek Yatra in Haryana’s Nuh district has given a two-day ultimatum to all local shops to fire their Muslim employees and boycott Muslim traders.

Shockingly this announcement was made in the presence of the police. The members of the Hindu outfit also raised “Jai Shree Ram” slogans.

However, the police said they are probing the matter and no one will be allowed to disrupt peace and Harmony in Nuh.

Earlier, a maha panchayat was called at Tigra village of Gurugram on Sunday in support of four suspects who were arrested in connection with the murder of Imam Muhammad Saad, Anjuman Masjid in Sector 57.

The four detainees, according to the villagers, were unfairly blamed for the purported event. The men who had been detained for the violence requested to examine the proof against them.

Hundreds of villages and Hindu organisations attended the maha panchayat where they made a public announcement that they should not rent out flats or slums to the hundreds of Muslim men working in Gurugram as carpenters, barbers, vegetable vendors, mechanics, and cab drivers.

The Anjuman Masjid in Sector 57, which was attacked in the city hours after conflicts between a Hindu procession moving through a town with a majority of Muslims in Nuh, is adjacent to Tigra village.

A community of individuals has also been targeted in various butcher businesses, scrap yards, furniture stores, and slums throughout Gurugram during the unrest there.

“Several police teams are on the ground to protect people from any incidents. We have ensured the deployment of police at all key locations. We are urged people to immediately inform the police or dial 112 for any incident. No one will be allowed to disrupt law and order in the city,” Varun Dahiya, ACP (crime) said.
