India A vs Pakistan A: A host of promising young players made their mark as India A humiliated Pakistan A by 8 wickets and enter the semifinals of the Emerging Asia Cup in Colombo, Sri Lanka on Wednesday.
The foremost among the India A youngsters who have shown great promise for the future are batsman Sai Sudharsan and fast bowler Rajvardhan Hangargekar.
Sai Sudharsan came up with a swashbuckling unbeaten century while Rajvardhan Hangargekar claimed a five-wicket haul.
India A totally dominated their Pakistan counterparts in both batting and bowling. Batting first, Pakistan A was all out for 205 runs.
India A pacer Rajvardhan Hangargekar produced a superb display of fast bowling to break the back of the Pakistan A batting line-up. The right-arm pacer from Maharashtra ended up with figures of 5/42 in eight overs. Left-arm spinner Manav Suthar also shone with the ball for India A, returning figures of 3/36.
Chasing a modest target, India A cantered home in 36.4 overs. Sai Sudarshan played starring role during the India A innings, anchoring the chase with an unbeaten century. The 21-year-old remained not out with 104 runs off 110 balls.

Batting first, Pakistan A scored 205 runs in the stipulated 50 overs. Kasim Akram was their highest scorer with 48 runs.
In response, the batting of the India A team was amazing. Opener Sai Sudharsan scored an unbeaten 104 off 110 balls, which included a total of 10 fours and 3 sixes. He registered a strike rate of 94.54.
Sai Sudarshan hit two back-to-back sixes on the third and fourth balls of the 37th over of the India A innings. The youngster from Chennai took home the Player of the Match award.
Rajvardhan Hangargekar tore through the Pakistan A line-up
India A all-rounder Rajvardhan Hangargekar dismantled much of the Pakistan A batting line-up with some superb fast bowling.
In the fourth over of the innings, he snapped up two wickets in the form of Saim Ayub and Omair Yousuf. He went on to pick up three more wickets in the 46th and 48th overs.
