Inย hisย annualย mediaย statementย priorย toย theย 2024ย Budgetย Session,ย Primeย Ministerย Modiย statedย thatย attemptsย wereย madeย toย muzzleย theย voiceย ofย theย administration,ย whichย hasย beenย electedย withย aย majorityย byย theย nation’sย 140ย croreย voters,ย inย theย firstย sessionย ofย parliamentย followingย theย 2024ย Lokย Sabhaย elections.
“Anย attemptย wasย madeย toย silenceย theย primeย minister’sย voiceย forย 2.5ย hours. Theย nation’sย citizensย haveย sentย us,ย notย theย party,ย butย theย nation. ย Thisย Parliamentย isย forย theย country,ย notย forย theย party,” PMย Modiย stated.
Prime Ministerย Narendraย Modi also urgedย theย Congress-ledย Oppositionย toย putย asideย theirย “pastย bitterness”ย andย uniteย inย supportย ofย theย nation.
