Kapil played in four stages of the tournament and collected 28 wickets in 26 matches with an economy rate of 3.76 and a best figure of 5/43.
- Anil Kumble – 31 scalps in 18 matches Legendary Indian bowler Anil Kumble has been one of India’s most consistent performers across formats. He continues to be India’s highest wicket-taker in international games. Kumble participated in four World Cups (1996, 1999, 2003, and 2007) and played in 18 matches. He picked up 31 wickets at an average and saves of 22.08 and 4.08 respectively, with a best bowling figure of 4/32.
- Mohammed Shami – 31 wickets in 11 matches Mohammad Shami is one of the most important fast bowlers in India’s current line-up and has done well in the World Cup so far. Shami has an excellent record of hitting all 18 balls as per his strike rate. He played 11 matches and took 31 wickets at an average of 15.70 between 2015 and 2019.
- Javagal Srinath – 44 points in 34 games Javagal Srinath was India’s premier batsman in the 1990s. He played four matches for the Indian team (1992, 1996, 1999, and 2003) and became the top scorer in the World Cup. Srinath played in 34 matches and ended up taking 44 wickets with an economy rate of 4.32 and a best figure of 4/30.
