Mujeeb Ur Rahman was rightfully crowned the Player of the Match, a fitting recognition for his exceptional performance that tilted the scales in Afghanistan’s favor.

It was just their second victory in the grand stage of the World Cup, and their first since 2015. With this win, they propelled themselves to a notable 2 victories out of 18 matches in their World Cup tournament history.
