Rohit Sharma as captain
Rohit’s journey as captain began in an ODI against Sri Lanka in Dharamsala, where he was dismissed for just two runs. However, he quickly made a statement by scoring an unbeaten 208 in the next match, marking his third ODI double-hundred and becoming the second captain after Virender Sehwag to achieve this milestone. In his second innings as captain against Sri Lanka in 2017, Rohit also notched his first T20I century.
With 3918 runs in his captaincy across formats, including eight centuries and 24 fifties, the “Hitman” is a dominant force. Rohit Sharma ranks third on the all-time list of captains with the most sixes across formats, tallying 187 maximums, trailing only behind Eoin Morgan (233) and MS Dhoni (211).
