The Lenovo-owned brand unveiled the Moto G45 5G, its newest 5G offering, in India on Wednesday. The new Moto G series phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 CPU, which offers up to 8GB of RAM. The phone has two 50-megapixel rear cameras and a 6.5-inch display with an adaptive refresh rate of 120 Hz. The Moto G45 5G boasts an IP52-rated construction and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 20W fast charging.

The base model of the Moto G45 5G, which comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, costs Rs. 10,999. At Rs. 12,999, the top-tier model comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage. Brilliant Blue, Brilliant Green, and Viva Magenta are the available color selections. The new phone will go on sale on August 28 at 12:00 PM IST through Flipkart, Motorola.in, and a few local retail locations.

Features of G45 5G
With three years of security updates and an assured upgrade to Android 15, the dual SIM (hybrid) Moto G45 5G runs Android 14. It has a 6.5-inch HD+ (720 x 1,600 pixels) hole punch LCD display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The screen has a pixel density of 269 ppi and is protected by Gorilla Glass 3.
It is equipped with 128GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage, up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 CPU. Virtually speaking, the RAM may be increased to 16GB by using unused storage.
The Moto G45 5G has a dual camera setup on its back: a 2-megapixel macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture and a single LED flash, and a 50-megapixel main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. The phone features a 16-megapixel camera on the front for taking pictures and recording videos.
The Moto G45 5G has Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, A-GPS, LTEPP, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, a 3.5mm audio connector, and a USB Type-C port as its connectivity options. It is water-repellent and rated IP52. Accelerometer, ambient light, e-compass, gyroscope, proximity, sensor hub, and SAR sensor are some of the sensors that are installed on board. For biometric authentication, the phone includes a fingerprint sensor installed on the side. It includes dual speakers with Dolby Atmos technology and a facial unlock feature.
A 5,000mAh battery that supports 20W wired fast charging powers the Moto G45 5G. The phone weighs about 183 grams and has dimensions of 162.7×74.64×8.0 mm.
