Samsung Galaxy A55 and Samsung Galaxy A35: Samsung recently declared that new Galaxy A-series smartphones would be available in India. The teaser revealed that the phones will be introduced on March 11; however, it did not specify which models would be released. Samsung later disclosed the names — Samsung Galaxy A55 5G and Samsung Galaxy A35 5G — on social media.
According to reports, the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G and Samsung Galaxy A34 5G will be replaced by these forthcoming handsets. Information about RAM, storage, color options, and price of the Samsung Galaxy A55 and Samsung Galaxy A35 were allegedly leaked by an online retail store before their official release.
The Samsung Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G were observed on the German e-commerce platform Otto, according to a GSMArena report. The listings were no longer active on the internet at the time of this report. The price, RAM, storage, and color options of the phones, however, were reportedly revealed by the retailer.

Samsung Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 price
According to the report, the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G’s 8GB + 128GB model was offered for EUR 480, or approximately Rs. 39,700, while the 8GB + 256GB option was listed at EUR 530, or around Rs. 43,800.
In contrast, it was claimed that the Samsung Galaxy A35 5G was available for purchase in two configurations: 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB, with prices of EUR 380 (about Rs. 31,400) and EUR 450 (about Rs. 37,200). It was also rumored that Ice Blue, Lemon, Lilac, and Navy Blue color options were offered for both versions.
The report said that the 8GB + 128GB model of the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G was available for EUR 480, or roughly Rs. 39,700, and the 8GB + 256GB model was listed for EUR 530, or around Rs. 43,800.
On the other hand, it was stated that the Samsung Galaxy A35 5G could be bought for EUR 380 (about Rs. 31,400) and EUR 450 (roughly Rs. 37,200) in two different configurations: 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB. Rumor had it that both models came in Ice Blue, Lemon, Lilac, and Navy Blue color variations.

Samsung Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 features
According to the report, the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G both have 6.6-inch full-HD+ AMOLED displays with a refresh rate of 120Hz and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It has been stated that the Galaxy A55 5G was advertised with an internal Exynos 1480 SoC, whereas the latter is purportedly powered by an Exynos 1380 processor.
According to the article, these phones also come with Knox 3.1 protection and One UI 6.1, which are based on Android 14.
The Galaxy A55 5G’s triple rear camera unit is said to have three lenses: a 12-megapixel sensor with an ultrawide lens, a 5-megapixel macro shooter, and a 1/1.56-inch 50-megapixel main sensor.
According to the report, the Galaxy A35 5G has three cameras: a 5-megapixel macro shooter at the back, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 1/1.96-inch 50-megapixel main sensor. According to the rumor, the Galaxy A55 5G features a 32-megapixel front camera, and the Galaxy A35 5G has a 13-megapixel module.
The Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G variants, according to the report, have aluminum shells with IP67 dust and splash resistant certifications and are powered by 5,000mAh batteries. The volume rocker and power button are located on the right edge of the key island hump, as seen in the photographs listed.
The phones are said to have a hybrid SIM tray and support both dual-SIM and eSIM connectivity. According to the article, they also offer Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and USB Type-C connectivity.
