“Pakistan today conducted successful training launch of surface to surface ballistic missile Shaheen-II. The training launch was aimed at training of troops, validating various technical parameters and performance evaluation of different sub-systems incorporated for improved accuracy and enhanced survivability,” the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.

Theย scientistsย andย engineersย wereย commendedย onย theirย achievementย byย Primeย Ministerย Shehbazย Sharifย andย Presidentย Asifย Aliย Zardariย ofย Pakistan,ย accordingย toย theย military. Pakistanย successfullyย launchedย aย 400-kilometerย (248-mile)ย practiceย launchย ofย theย Fateh-IIย guidedย missileย systemย inย May.
Pakistanย alsoย executedย aย successfulย testย launchย ofย theย medium-rangeย Ababeelย armamentย systemย inย Octoberย 2023.
