A technical issue forced an Indian Air Force (IAF) aircraft carrying six people to make a “emergency” landing at a village near the Madhya Pradesh capital Bhopal on October 1.
Inspector Narendra Kulaste of the Berasia police station, who was on the scene, assured the reporters that the pilot and the five members of the crew were safe.
He stated that the incident happened at 8.45 in the morning.
The IAF helicopter made the emergency landing in a sugarcane field near a lake in Dungariya village nearly 60 kilometres from Madhya Pradesh’s capital Bhopal, he claimed.
The official claimed that a technical issue occurred as the aircraft was its route from Bhopal to Jhansi.
IAF personnel have reached the location to address the technical issue. He added that a second team of technicians was on its way from Nagpur to the village of Dungariya.
