Unable to download apps from Google Play Store? Know quick solution

Google Play Store is the official app store for Android devices. In the Google Play Store, users get the facility to choose the apps and games they want and download them according to their needs.

The Google Play Store also enables users to update their apps and games to get new features and improvements. However, sometimes, users may encounter issues that prevent them from downloading apps. If you are also in this frustrating situation, here’s a guide to help you resolve this issue and download apps smoothly. Here are the solutions.

Check your internet connection

A stable internet connection is required to download apps and games from the Google Play Store. So make sure you are connected to a reliable Wi-Fi network or have a strong mobile data signal. If you’re using Wi-Fi, try restarting your router or connecting to a different network to rule out any connection issues.

Clear cache and data of play store

Sometimes, the cache and data of the Play Store app may prevent apps and games from downloading. To resolve this, go to your device’s Settings, go to the Apps or Application Manager section, locate the Google Play Store, and clear its cache and data. The process may be slightly different depending on your device model and Android version.

Update Play Store app

Like other apps, Play Store is also an app and Google keeps updating it from time to time to ensure smooth functionality. Older versions of the Play Store app can cause compatibility issues, which can cause downloads to fail.

To update the app, open the Play Store.

Now tap on the menu icon in the top-left corner and go to Settings.

Scroll down to find the Play Store version.

If an update is available, follow the on-screen prompts to install it.

Check Available Storage Space

If your phone is running low on storage, it can prevent apps and games from downloading. Make sure the phone has enough free storage. If not, delete some photos, videos or unused apps and then try downloading the app again.

Restart your phone

If still your device is not working then restart your device to completely refresh it and then try to download app or game from play store.
