For the convenience of the user, the facility of payment is now available on WhatsApp. If you are a WhatsApp user, then now you can use this chatting app for making payments also with WhatsApp Pay.

 

How to set up WhatsApp Pay

First of all WhatsApp has to be opened.

Now you have to come to Payments from the three dot option made on the right corner.

Now the bank has to be selected by selecting “Add Payment Method”.

Now you can select SMS verification to verify the number.

After the number is verified, you will be able to see the details of the bank account linked to your number.

 

How to send money with WhatsApp Pay

First of all WhatsApp has to be opened.

The contact to whom money has to be sent has to come on its chat page.

Now press on the attachment icon on the message typing box.

Here you have to click on Payment.

Now the amount has to be filled with a note.

Now you have to give your UPI PIN information. With the completion of the process, money will be deducted from the bank account.

 

How to receive payment from WhatsApp Pay?

When another user sends money to you through WhatsApp Pay, you get a notification. With tapping on this notification, the payment request can be opened. You can receive money along with verifying the UPI PIN.

 

How to make payment request through WhatsApp Pay

First of all, you have to visit the chat page of the contact from whom you want to request payment.

Now press on the attachment icon on the message typing box.

Here you have to click on Payment.

Now the amount has to be filled with a note.

Finally,  the payment request has to be sent.
