Bedi’s contribution to team India
Bishan Singh Bedi was a part of India’s renowned spin quartet, along with Bhagwath Chandrasekhar, Erapalli Prasanna, and Srinivas Venkataraghavan. He played 67 Tests for India, captaining 22 of them, and took a total of 266 wickets. He was known for his excellence as a left-arm spinner and played a pivotal role in India’s first-ever ODI victory against East Africa in the 1975 World Cup.
