IND vs ENG World Cup 2023: Rohit Sharma scores fifty against England; crafts 60-run partnership with KL Rahul

India’s captain, Rohit Sharma scored his 54th ODI half-century under challenging batting conditions during the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 match against England at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. Rohit had to persevere to reach his fifty in this testing encounter.

In addition to this achievement, Rohit crossed the milestone of 18,000 runs in international cricket, becoming the fifth Indian cricketer to achieve this distinction. He joins an illustrious list that includes Sachin Tendulkar (34,357 runs), Virat Kohli (26,121 runs), Rahul Dravid (24,208 runs), and Sourav Ganguly (18,575 runs).
