The iQoo Z9 5G was introduced on Tuesday, March 12, in India. The newest smartphone in the Vivo sub-brand’s Z series is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 5G SoC and is available in two color variants.
The iQoo Z9 5G has a 50-megapixel dual back camera set and a 120Hz refresh rate display. Its 5,000mAh battery can be charged at 44W rapid speed. The IP54 water and dust resistance grade is also present on the 5G phone.
iQoo Z9 5G price
The starting price for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage edition of the iQoo Z9 5G is Rs. 19,999. The cost of the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is Rs. 21,999. It comes in two color options: graphene blue and brushed green.
At 12:00 IST on March 13, there will be an early sale of it. All users will be able to purchase the phone via the iQoo India shop, Amazon India, and physical stores starting on March 14 at 12:00 PM IST.
When utilizing ICICI and HDFC credit cards to make purchases, iQoo is giving customers a discount of Rs. 2,000. As a result, the 128GB and 256GB storage variants will now be effectively priced at Rs. 17,999 and Rs. 19,999, respectively.
iQoo Z9 5G features
The Funtouch OS 14 operating system, which is based on Android 14, powers the 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a pixel density of 394ppi on the dual-SIM (Nano) iQoo Z9 5G.
The display has a screen-to-body ratio of 91.90 percent, a peak brightness of 1800 nits, and a touch sampling rate of 300 Hz. with the glass protection of DT-Star 2 Plus. An octa-core 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7200 5G SoC, 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and an Arm Mali-G610 GPU power the new iQoo smartphone. The onboard memory can be increased to a maximum of 16GB using the Extended RAM function.

The iQoo Z9 5G has two rear cameras: a 2-megapixel Bokeh shooter with an f/2.4 aperture and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX88 main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and an f/1.79 aperture. It has a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
The iQoo Z9 5G also has an internal UFS3.0 storage capacity of up to 256GB, which can be increased to 1TB with a microSD card. 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.3, Beidou, GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, and a USB Type-C connector are among the available connectivity choices. There are several sensors on board, including a proximity sensor, e-compass, accelerometer, and gyroscope. The phone has a fingerprint sensor embedded in the display. Moreover, it is rated IP54 for dust and water protection. Additionally, it has two stereo speakers.
On the iQoo Z9 5G, iQoo has included a 5,000mAh battery that supports 44W rapid charging. On a single charge, the battery pack is said to provide up to 67.78 hours of music playback and up to 17 hours of YouTube video viewing. It is claimed that the flash charging technique can charge the battery from empty to fifty percent in thirty-one minutes. The phone is made of polycarbonate, with dimensions of 163.17 x 75.81 x 7.83 mm and a weight of approximately 188 grams.
