Motorola has declared that it will shortly introduce a new smartphone to the Indian market. With just a few days till the device’s release in the nation, Lenovo-owned smartphone manufacturer has started to reveal some of its next smartphone’s features. The characteristics provided by Motorola imply that the new smartphone will be a mid-range device, similar to the rumored Motorola Edge 50 Fusion, even though the company has not yet publicly disclosed the name of the device or its launch date.
Motorola has disclosed that the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip will be featured in its upcoming smartphone through a series of posts on X, which was once known as Twitter. Given that this mobile processor is present in mid-range phones, the next Motorola phone may be released in the same market.
Additionally, Motorola has given a picture of a rectangular object with a speedy charging animation; this implies that Motorola’s upcoming phone may feature both fast wired and wireless charging. It’s unclear whose smartphone camera the company is referring to, but the third component seen in the teaser appears to be a smartphone camera lens.

In a brief movie that was uploaded on X, Motorola previously hinted at a smartphone with a curved display. The screen’s left and right borders of the handset are rounded. A quick glimpse of the back panel is also provided, displaying the Motorola “batwing” emblem in a tiny indentation on the device’s back. The upcoming release of a Motorola Edge series phone is also confirmed by the video.
Motorola teased the “fusion of art and intelligence” in a press release earlier this week, announcing that it would host a launch event on April 3. The teaser uses the same words—intelligence and art—as the teasers being shared on X, despite the business having not yet revealed any information about the smartphone or smartphones that would be unveiled at the event.
We can assume that Motorola intends to introduce the Moto Edge 50 series in India as its next launch event draws near. The smartphone that the company is teasing may be the Edge 50 Fusion or the Edge 50 Pro. We should expect additional information regarding Motorola’s upcoming smartphone in the coming days, especially in light of the company’s hint of a mid-range Snapdragon CPU.
