Fit India Movement holds bodybuilding championship, promotes healthier society

On March 8, 2024, the Fit India Movement held a bodybuilding competition in Ghaziabad. It was a huge success and promoted unity among competitors and spectators. More than 150 bodybuilders took part in the event, and the title winner took home a ₹51,000 cash reward.

The occasion demonstrated the ability of sports to bring people together and foster overall wellbeing.

Bodybuilders from all across the region demonstrated their commitment and hard work in the bodybuilding championship organised by the Fit India Movement at the Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Auditorium in Nehru Nagar, Ghaziabad, by showcasing their strength and physique in a variety of categories.

The participants embodied the spirit of sports and fitness with their extraordinary discipline and drive at the bodybuilding competition.

Shri Vineet Vats Tyagi ji, the National Headquarters Incharge of the Youth Wing of the BJP, who organized the event, stressed the value of physical activity and sports in creating a healthier society.

WWE wrestler Shanky Singh was also present on the occasion

Emphasizing the importance of such activities, Dr. Anil Agrawal Ji (MP Rajya Sabha), Sh. Narendra Kashyap Ji (Minister of State Independent UP Govt), and Sh. Sanjeev Sharma Ji (Mahanagar President, Ghaziabad) commended the organizers’ and participants’ efforts.

Wrestler Divya Kakran – former Asia champion and a recipient of the Arjun Award – and WWE wrestler Shanky Singh enthralled the crowd with their presence and motivated young athletes to follow their goals with tenacity and dedication.
